Pecking Order (Captive Rheas)
These ostrich-like rheas were at a roadside zoo in the little town of Spring Hill, near Brooksville, FL. They seemed to think my camera and hands were some new kind of snack food. Taking a closeup was a little like being attacked by clothes pins. Fortunately they don't have teeth.
